DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF 24/7 NEWS) Protestors walked through downtown Dallas last night and stopped in front of American Airlines Center to lay on the ground in front of the entrance. Police briefly shut down Stemmons Freeway around 9:30 as they worked to keep the protestors off the highway.
The protestors also gathered at Dealey Plaza chanting "I Can't Breathe" and "No Justice, No Peace." Five people were arrested for laying in the street before the protest ended around midnight.
The marchers were expressing their disagreement with the grand jury decision in New York not to indict a police officer in the case of Eric Garner, who died after being restrained by police.
