PROSPER (WBAP/KLIF) – Police in Prosper now say the driver of car they were looking for is not connected to a series of attempted child abductions.
Earlier the department issued a home surveillance video of a vehicle driving suspiciously in a Prosper neighborhood.
It was initially thought the car might be involved in similar attempts to lure children in other rural Collin and Grayson county towns.
After talking to the owner of the sedan they confirmed he’s not tied to any criminal activity.
Reports have been filed in Melissa, Anna, Van Alstyne and Tom Bean. The search continues for that suspect, who is pictured here.
