TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News) A Verizon takeover in Texas is leaving some customers in the digital dark. Frontier Communications took over territory dominated by Verizon in California, Florida, and Texas last week. Frontier bought the FiOS and DSL networks for more than $10B, but is still working out the kinks with customers. A customer in Dallas complained on downdetector.com about not having access to TV or internet since last Friday. Other customers, however, say representatives with Frontier seem to be more knowledgeable than ones with Verizon. Frontier says FiOS TV will take longer to fix than the other services, but that all the issues will be resolved soon.
