WEATHERFORD (WBAP/KLIF News) – Representatives with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State of Texas and the US Small Business Administration are available to help people with disaster-related questions.
A Disaster Recover Center opened Friday at the Cool Banking Center (9702 Mineral Wells Highway) in Weatherford.
“It is for people who were affected by the storms from March 7-29. It includes Erath, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Hood, Jasper, Limestone, Marion, Newton, Orange, Parker, Shelby and Tyler counties,” said Tiana Suber, the public information officer for FEMA. “We encourage you to register with FEMA to see what kind of assistance you can get. Don’t wait. The deadline is May 18.”
