PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – The lawsuit against the City of Plano by residents wanting a public vote on its future will go forward.
Jack Ternan represents Plano residents who want a city plan called Plano Tomorrow to have more than just the say of elected leaders.
“What my clients want is what they are entitled to under the Charter which is a vote of the public on the plan,” said Ternan.
The City does not agree saying it followed Texas law and the plan does not have to go to a public vote.
Both sides now wait for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to hear the case.
