DALLAS ( WBAP/KLIF) – A 13-year-old Dallas boy is recovering after being attacked by a neighbor’s dog.
Jesus Galvan was outside of his family’s apartment near Gaston and Skillman playing when the bull terrier appeared out of nowhere, knocking him down and biting him numerous times.
The teen says he feels lucky to be alive.
When police arrived they found the dog and killed it with a “taser”.
Just last month, a 52-year-old woman died after being attacked by a pack of dogs in the Fair Park area of Dallas. Since then the city has initiated a crackdown on strays.
