Grapevine (WBAP/KLIF News) Some car repair mechanics at Park Place Motorcars Grapevine can add animal rescue to their resumes. Late last week, they opened the hood of a car and found the underside of the hood had been damaged. They saw something move and then a little head peeked out from within the engine. Technicians Buddy Ward and Patrick Estes immediately jumped in and starting removing parts of the engine. They eventually found a total of four baby raccoons and managed to remove them safely from the car. The babies were first put into a cardboard box and then moved to a cage. A wildlife rescue organization came to pick up the babies and will raise them until they can be released back into the wild.
