DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – More than 200 people worked to clean up Sandbranch this past weekend.
The small community in southeast Dallas has been fighting to get clean, running water and basic municipal services for decades. They’ve been forced to use water jugs and bottles.
Volunteers removed tires, trash and weeds around homes in the area.
Sandbranch has been the source of contention at City Hall as some leaders are pushing for the 50 families who live there to be relocated.
