(WBAP/KLIF News) – Donald Trump wants to hold a rally this week in North Texas, but organizers are having a hard time finding a site for the event.
Officials in Irving and Grand Prairie have declined offers to host the gathering.
Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne said the Trump campaign approached the city too late for the proposed rally scheduled for Thursday.
Grand Prairie declined to host the event at the Verizon Theatre saying the 6,300 seat arena isn’t big enough. It also cited security concerns.
