No-one was injured when a small fire broke out in a mechanical room at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. According to the hospital people near the fire on the fourth floor were moved to a different part of the hospital. The hospital was not evacuated, but some people did go outside. About 20 emergency vehicles surrounded the hospital during the incident.
DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Several people have been evacuated from Children’s Medical Center in Dallas because of a fire.
According to Jason Evans with Dallas Fire-Rescue says the fire was reported on the fourth floor and is under control.
Evans says they are trying to clear smoke from the building and they are concerned about the people who have been evacuated that are standing outside in the heat.
