BELMEAD (WBAP/KLIF News) – Police arrested 23-year-old Davie Dauzat of Belmead for allegedly decapitating his wife and putting her head in the freezer Thursday morning. Authorities were called to the mobile home on Concord Road around 11 a.m. after Dauzat allegedly admitted to police that he killed his wife.
A hostage negotiator made contact with Dauzat, who eventually came out of the home covered in blood. There were two toddlers, 1 and 2 years old, in the home at the time. They escaped unharmed and were placed in the care of the authorities.
Dauzat is being held in the McClennan County Jail on a murder charge.
