MANSFIELD (WBAP/KLIF News) – A bus driver with Mansfield ISD is back on the job after being accused of sleeping on the job.
Students on the bus captured the incident on their cell phones last week.
The footage shows the bus driver seemingly asleep while driving kids home from school.
A spokesperson for the district said dispatch told the driver to pull over and police checked him out.
They concluded the driver was not impaired.
After an internal investigation wrapped up, the driver was allowed to return to work. He has been given a different route.
