Mom Charged with Leaving Baby in Hot Car

MCKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman is behind bars after police said she left her baby in a hot car in McKinney.

Kimberly Jo Rosario told officers she was getting an eye exam and forgot her baby was in the car.

A passerby noticed the child and broke the window to get the baby out.

Rosario is facing child endangerment charges.

Temperatures inside the car reached 130 degrees.

The baby received treatment at the hospital and is expected to survive.
