DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas County is reporting a second death related to West Nile Virus.
The victim suffered from the more serious West Nile Neuroinvasive Disease and lived in the 75248 zip code of Far North Dallas east of the Dallas North Tollway and south of the George Bush Turnpike.
For medical privacy reasons, Dallas County Health and Human Services will not release anymore information about the victim.
Besides two deaths from West Nile in Dallas County this season so far, there are now up to 42 human cases in the county.
Health leaders can’t warn the public enough: Wear mosquito repellent and long loose clothing and drain mosquito-attracting standing water.
