FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) The Fort Worth city council will vote on a $1.65B budget tonight, which would lower property taxes and create more jobs. The budget was recommended by the city manager to meet demands of city services and other needs that go along with the city’s economic growth and increase in residential permits. Also in the budget would be added money toward street maintenance and repair, neighborhood safety, additional police officers at schools, and body cameras for Fort Worth PD.
