DENTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – University of North Texas police arrest three men for an armed robbery on campus.
A UNT student told police he was robbed at gunpoint earlier this month when two men got into his car for an alleged drug transaction. He said the suspects told him to drive to UNT Lot 50 where they robbed him and took off in a waiting car.
Javaris Steward and Eyion Willis were charged with aggravated robbery. The student, Henry Huynh, was arrested and charged with filing a false police report. Investigators said a fourth suspect has been identified but is not in custody.
None of the suspects are students at the university.
