McKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF) – The Judge in the Enrique Arochi aggravated kidnapping trial was too sick to begin the sentencing phase of the trial which was to get underway Monday.
Judge Mark Rusch said he fell ill late Sunday and had to go to a clinic.
If Rusch is not able to be in court Tuesday, another judge could be assigned.
Arochi was found guilty of aggravated kidnapping last week in the disappearance of Christina Morris in 2014.
