DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Police and private security personnel in Dallas are beefing up their presence in Deep Ellum.
There have been four armed robberies since Aug. 1. All of the victims were held up while walking home late at night, and descriptions of the suspects were the same in all four cases.
There was also at least one sexual assault.
The Dallas Police Department’s Central Division has assigned more officers to the area, and the Deep Ellum Foundation has hired extra off-duty officers.
