Sentencing Begins Monday in Arochi Case

Enrique Arochi 1 McKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF News) – The sentencing phase of a kidnapping trial in Collin County begins Monday morning.

After deliberating for 18 hours last week, jurors found Enrique Arochi guilty of kidnapping Christina Morris at the Shops at Legacy in Plano in Aug. 2014.

Morris was last seen on surveillance video walking with Arochi in the parking garage.

Her DNA was found in the trunk of his car.

New evidence and testimony is expected in the punishment phase.

Arochi is facing anywhere from probation to life in prison.
