BURLESON (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Burleson high school football player remains in critical condition after falling out of the back of a pick-up truck.
It happened Friday night when Jonathan Lopez and his friends were leaving a Buffalo Wild Wings.
Lopez has been in intensive care since it happened.
Burleson Head Coach Gary McElroy said the bleeding on the teen’s brain has stopped, and they’re waiting for the swelling to go down. He said there was no alcohol involved, and that it was more of a “crazy, freak accident.”
