DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) New regulations on Dallas landlords is prompting the possible evictions of hundreds of tenants. One renter is asking others to join her fight to stay in their homes and have their landlord abide by the new rules. Joanna Pena told WFAA she was relieved that her landlord would be forced to make needed repairs after living in squalor conditions. But owner HMK and Kraish H. Kraish says it won’t be doing that. It has more than 400 properties in Dallas and the company announced that it is being forced to close the properties and will demolish them instead of bringing them up to standard.
