DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) You’re in the right place if you need to find work. Dallas is where the jobs are, according to a new Bloomberg report. The Big D leads a list of major metropolitan areas across the U.S. that have added the most jobs in the past 8 years. Toyota’s headquarters moving to Plano is a large contributor to the data, while many other businesses are attracted to the area because of state and local taxes that are well below the national average. But the report also claims things could turn downward in the coming years. Bloomberg research also shows the city is near bankruptcy because of pension funding problems. And the climate is an issue, with the number of summer days hotter than 100 degrees projected to get higher every year.
