Crowley (WBAP/KLIF News) – Two people have been killed in a house in Crowley. The house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac near Alsbury Boulevard and Renfro Street.
Crowley police were called to check on the family Tuesday night. They found two dead bodies inside and called in SWAT and the Texas Rangers.
After a stand-off that lasted several hours, police took one person into custody but have not said what relationship the suspect may have to the two people who were killed.
During the stand-off, houses nearby were evacuated. Neighbors say the family had lived in the house for about 20 years.
Crowley police are still investigating with Texas Rangers, but they say there is no ongoing threat to anyone in the neighborhood.
