ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Metro Arlington Xpress bus service has been extended for another year.
Council approved the city’s share of the funding, about $177,000, to keep the low-cost service going past its scheduled Dec. 31 expiration date.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a federal grant is paying half of the $708,000 extension.
The city and the University of Texas-Arlington have agreed to split the difference.
