DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Dallas Police and Fire Pension Board has voted to stop “DROP” withdrawals from the pension fund.
The move comes days after Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings filed a lawsuit in an attempt to keep retirees from making large lump sum withdrawals.
If changes aren’t made, the pension fund could be out of money in the next ten years.
