DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Hundreds of Dallas teachers have the same generous “secret santa.” 322 teachers at seven Dallas schools were surprised yesterday with a $400 Target gift card. The donor of the money is anonymous, but represents the non-profit group “The Commit Partnership.” The seven schools are all part of the district’s “Accelerating Campus Excellence Program.” It consists of top-performing teachers that were given incentives to relocate and work at some of the district’s lowest-performing schools. The donation totaled nearly $130,000. Most of the teachers who spoke to WFAA said they wouldn’t use the money on themselves, but rather for supplies in the classroom.
