Oak Cliff (WBAP/KLIF) – A team of teenage artists has presented a gift to the residents of Oak Cliff. They created a 20 foot tall mosaic sculpture in the middle of Oak Cliff’s historic downtown, and gave it to the people. It’s near the Texas Theater on Jefferson Blvd., and from the street looks like a bright yellow cone, or teepee.
The sculpture is the first of 28 public art projects planned for the Dallas area. They may not all be created by high school students, but they are all intended to celebrate life and living things.
