FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)–Late last week a mother and her three month old son were found dead at their north Fort Worth home with their throats cut. The father, Craig Vandeweg found the bodies and contacted police. In the days following the murder, police met with the husband twice to get an account of his discovery. After the last meeting, he hired an attorney and refused to speak with police. That choice has made him a focus of this investigation because eliminating those close to the victims as suspects then looking elsewhere is standard procedure in homicide investigations.
