DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Folks who had Griddy energy will no longer be on the line for insanely high energy bills that were handed out following the winter storm that left millions of Texans without power.
Moving forward, all former Griddy customers will no longer be responsible for paying back any and all outstanding balances otherwise due. Former customers may also pursue a legal claim in the bankruptcy court to recover any amount they may have already paid.
Griddy filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection back in march 2021.
